Founder
Architect Eric Wilbur founded WA Works to pursue a passion for design by making.
“I design organically with the belief that products and objects are made more meaningful by the love of labor involved in development process. When successful, the iterative dialog between an initial concept and the means of fabrication, forges an identity in objects that transcend function and style. They possess an architectural ability to engage their environment and elevate their purpose."
Eric’s studied at the State University of New York at Buffalo where he received a Master’s Degree in Architecture in 1992. Prior to co-founding Demian\Wilbur\Architects in 2005, Eric was a Senior Associate for Gensler working in their Washington DC, London UK and Houston TX offices. His diverse portfolio includes an array of highly regarded international Architecture, Interior design and Master planning projects.
